Classification of desk data (2018)

The artwork is consisted out of 107 objects that were exhibited on the desk at the temporary space of Museum on the 10th of April, 2018. I removed the objects from the desk on the other side of the space and give them a number. By removing the objects from their original space I wanted to purify them emotional, functional and aesthetics aspects. Thus objects became a foundation of the Museum. Curator for the presentation choose 18 pieces are now part of the new and official space of the Ona Museum.

Abstract

Eona's piece "Classification of desk data" presents 107 pieces that were a set up around working space of Ona Museum. She wanted to digitalis catalogue of "desktop".  As the Museum was in a time of creations she criticized that is necessary that a such Museum should have a their own Collection of Cultural Objects. Equally important for the visitors as the future projects. After long search and discussion with Eona of importance of each objects I decided to chose 18 which were exhibited in the opening of Museum. The collection consists of a Cup, Teddy bear Elephant, a Glass with beer, Notebook she bought in Krakow while she was on Erasmus exchange, Necklace that her brother bought her, Ceramic fish that contemplate the memory of her mom, Clock that her other brother bought her 7 years ago, Framed photo of her and her brothers, Notebook her cousin gave her when she left the country in 2013., Bag she received as a present of her Finish friend, Winnie the Pooh she received as a gift from her brother when she had to go to the dentist (extraction of a tooth), Magnet with a boat brother bought her while he was traveling, Bee she bought for herself, Stone Sheep that her mum and her bought the same, Wooden elephant brother bough her, a Duck dad bought her, Glass aunt bought her and a Cancer brother bought her for her birthday.

It is necessary to mention that these 18 items are always exposed on her desk since the day she got them and as such became a valuable treasure which expanded from their original value. As such, the objects are crucial in defining her character.
